About The Position
Heritage Woods of McHenry is hiring a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) on a PRN, part-time basis in McHenry, Illinois. The CNA provides individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan, assists with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, and reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team. The role also involves building compassionate connections with residents and their families, protecting confidential information, participating in ongoing learning, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
