About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide delivers exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity, and reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team. The aide builds compassionate, meaningful connections with residents and family members, participates in ongoing learning and development, and complies with confidentiality and privacy rules for resident information. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
