About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and preserving dignity. The aide reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team and communicates compassionately with residents and their families.

The position also involves ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, as well as protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
