Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - PRN
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide delivers exceptional, individualized care to residents according to their care plans. The role assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and preserving dignity. The aide reports changes in resident health status to the clinical team and builds compassionate, meaningful connections with residents and family members. The position also involves ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, while complying with rules and regulations concerning resident confidentiality and privacy. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
