Catholic Nursery Caregiver
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time assistant to care for children aged infant through 2 years old in a classical and Catholic Nursery room for 14 hours per week. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a love for small children and may have experience in childcare, Catholic parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, teaching their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school. Regina Caeli Academy is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction on Mondays and Thursdays. Childcare/nursery is provided, and no additional vacation days are given, though accommodations are made for sick days. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to employment. The hours are Mondays and Thursdays from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. Applicants must also be available for one mandatory training day on August 11, 12, or 13, 2026 (TBD) from 8 am to 5 pm, for which no childcare is provided, but nursing infants are welcome.
Requirements
- Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
- Must have a love for small children.
- Must be available for mandatory training days on August 11, 12, or 13, 2026 (TBD) (8am-5pm).
- Must have a clear background check.

Responsibilities
