Catholic Nursery Caregiver
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time assistant to care for children aged infant through 2 years old in a classical and Catholic Nursery room for 14 hours per week. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a love for small children and may possess experience in childcare, Catholic parish ministry, teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes, homeschooling their own children, or teaching in a classical or private school. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The position requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and adherence to Catholic faith practices, including receiving appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.
Requirements
- Love for small children.
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organization.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Must be available to attend 1 mandatory training days on August 11, 12, or 13, 2026 (TBD) (8am-5pm).
- Must have a clear background check.
