About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time caregiver for its classical and Catholic Nursery at its Mechanicsburg, PA location for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is an hourly position with childcare provided. While a teaching certification or formal teaching experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. The academy provides training on curriculum, grading, instruction, and classroom management according to RCA standards. The role requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and a commitment to living the Catholic faith daily, including receiving appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 3, 4, or 5, 2026 (TBD) prior to working in the classroom (8am-5pm).
• Must have a clear background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
