About The Position
Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join its care team in a team-driven environment. The nurse is an essential part of residents’ care and helps coordinate daily nursing activities, assess residents, administer medications, and maintain care plans. The position is full-time and works the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM in Henderson, Tennessee.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted LPN or RN license for the state of Tennessee.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily activities of CNAs and ensure nursing personnel follow policies and procedures.
- Participate in resident admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
- Assess residents’ conditions and prepare and administer medications according to physician orders.
- Initiate, review, and update care plans.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions to the nurse supervisor and keep the supervisor informed of factors that interfere with performing assigned work.
- Perform other duties assigned by clinical or administrative leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
