About The Position

The Nursing Schedule Coordinator is a key team member that is responsible for the overall assurances of appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role requires a supportive presence to create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents and team members, strong organizational skills to ensure quality nursing care through effective scheduling, and excellent collaboration with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to communicate staffing needs and ensure compliance with budgetary, State, and Federal guidelines. Teamwork and strong interpersonal communication are essential for creating equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana RN, LPN or QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assures appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
  • Creates staffing schedules that ensures the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Coordinates with the Executive Director and the Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
  • Ensures compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
  • Works towards a common goal of excellent care for residents.
  • Ensures quick, equitable and courteous scheduling patterns and resolutions through collaboration with team members.
