About The Position

For over 60 years, St. Anne Home, a ministry of the Felician Sisters of North America, has been committed to offering superior health care services to the senior members of our community. We are seeking to hire a Nurse Scheduler – Staffing Coordinator. This role is responsible for the department's master schedule and monthly scheduling to ensure all units and shifts are staffed. It involves facilitating enrollment of agency staff into the time clock, forecasting and managing schedules for various leave requests to ensure efficient nursing staff coverage, and monitoring all nursing regular and overtime worked time. The position also requires daily contact with Administration, Human Resources, and payroll staff regarding employee-related matters, managing employee worked time in the Workforce Dimensions (UKG) scheduling system, and generating reports to track department staffing. Additionally, the role assists with various departmental projects including policy updates, managing employee performance paperwork, education, and ancillary resident service vendors. Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Scheduling in a health care setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays during staffing crises and pandemics.
  • Working experience with scheduling (preferably Workforce Dimensions) and payroll software.
  • Working experience with MS Office suite, including strong Excel skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the department's master schedule and monthly scheduling to ensure all units and shifts are staffed.

  • Forecast and manage schedule for PTO, holidays, FMLA and personal leave requests to ensure efficient nursing staff coverage.
  • Monitor all nursing regular and overtime worked time.
  • Daily contact with Administration, Human Resources and payroll staff regarding employee related matters.
  • Responsible for managing employee worked time in Workforce Dimensions (UKG) scheduling system.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports to track department's staffing.
