Samaritan Daytop Village is a human services organization serving more than 38,000 New Yorkers annually across over 60 locations. Its First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center in Rockland County is a 24/7 program, dually licensed by OMH and OASAS, that provides rapid, short-term support for children ages 5 and older and adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. The multidisciplinary team uses a trauma-informed, harm-reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with longer-term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits. The Nurse (RN) Supervisor leads and oversees nursing and medical support staff in the crisis stabilization setting, ensuring safe, timely, high-quality client care. The role combines administrative leadership with hands-on clinical care, including staff scheduling, training and competency evaluations, compliance oversight, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The supervisor also supports quality improvement, provides direct client care, and maintains effective operations across shifts. This is a full-time exempt role located in Blauvelt, New York, with a Monday–Friday schedule.
