About The Position
Freedom Plaza is recruiting a hospitality-focused RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents in its skilled nursing facility. This part-time position is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., including every weekend. Pay is up to $42 per hour, depending on experience and licensure. Benefits are offered, along with a daily pay option.
Requirements
- Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the position is worked.
- Have experience in skilled nursing.
- Have CPR qualification.
- Be willing to be available for any or all community emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
- Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents; develop and monitor care plans; and reassess each resident.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services regarding community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physicians’ orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure residents receive preventive, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services, and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
- Be available for emergencies involving the community.
