About The Position
Freedom Plaza is seeking a hospitality-focused RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents in its skilled nursing facility. The role focuses on resident well-being, supporting independence, identifying changes in residents’ medical and behavioral conditions, and coordinating care with other disciplines. This is a full-time overnight position, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every other weekend required. The wage is up to $42 per hour, depending on experience and licensure.
Requirements
- Current nursing license valid in the state where the role is worked.
- Willingness to be available for any or all community emergencies.
- Experience in skilled nursing.
- CPR.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, while promoting an independent lifestyle.
- Identify changes in residents’ medical and behavioral conditions; develop and monitor care plans and reassess residents.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
