About The Position

The TOPS Packer inspects, packs, labels, and prepares finished products for shipment according to company quality and safety standards. The role ensures products are packaged accurately and efficiently in compliance with customer specifications while meeting production goals. The position works in a manufacturing and production environment and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.
Ability to perform repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
Previous manufacturing or packing experience.

Responsibilities

Pack finished products according to production and customer requirements.
Inspect products for quality defects and report concerns to the supervisor.
Verify labels, lot codes, and packaging materials before packing.
Maintain accurate production and packaging records.
Assemble cartons, boxes, and other packaging materials as needed.
Ensure packaged products meet quality and safety standards.
Keep work areas clean and organized according to good housekeeping practices.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment requirements.
Assist with line changeovers and production setup when required.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
