About The Position

The TOPS Packer inspects, packs, labels, and prepares finished products for shipment in accordance with company quality and safety standards. The role ensures products are packaged accurately and efficiently and comply with customer specifications while meeting production goals. The position is based in a manufacturing and production environment, with exposure to machinery, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required safety gear.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 35 pounds.
Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and arms.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or packing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Pack finished products according to production and customer requirements.
Inspect products for quality defects and report concerns to the supervisor.
Verify labels, lot codes, and packaging materials before packing.
Maintain accurate production and packaging records.
Assemble cartons, boxes, and other packaging materials as needed.
Ensure packaged products meet quality and safety standards.
Keep work areas clean and organized in accordance with good housekeeping practices.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements.
Assist with line changeovers and production setup when required.
Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Meet established productivity and quality standards.
Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
Follow safety and manufacturing quality requirements.
Demonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
