About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Personal Assistant for The Barclay House of Aiken. The role supports assisted living and memory care residents by providing companionship, supportive listening, and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding. The Personal Assistant also helps residents with memory and performance improvement programs, provides light housekeeping and laundry, assists with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team, and helps keep residents engaged and happy through activities. The position is as needed and lists shifts of 7 a.m.–3 p.m., 3 p.m.–11 p.m., and 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The salary range is $14.00–$15.00.

Requirements

• Have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred, but not required unless required by the state.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Experience working with older adults is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and supportive listening to assisted living and memory care residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Report changes in residents’ health and status.
• Complete daily data sheets to record resident progress.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with dining as needed or directed by the leadership team.
• Assist with activities that keep residents engaged and happy.
