Residency Program - New Nurse Graduates
About The Position
BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is a paid, accredited home-care residency for nursing graduates who have passed the NCLEX in the United States. Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, with opportunities to explore interests and develop new skills. The program includes a six-week training program, paid training and shadowing, and ongoing clinical support by phone. BAYADA uses Statewise for electronic charting and provides award-winning adult and pediatric simulation labs. Scheduling is flexible after training, and cases are matched near the resident’s home to help reduce commute times.
Requirements
- Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
- Current valid nursing license in the United States and a passed NCLEX.
- CPR certification in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to home-care clients.
- Complete electronic charting using Statewise.
- Participate in the six-week training program, paid training, and shadowing.
