Residency Program - New Nurse Graduates
About The Position
BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is a paid home-care residency for nursing graduates with a scheduled or passed NCLEX in the United States. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages and with a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. The position includes a six-week training program, paid training and shadowing, and flexible scheduling after training. BAYADA uses electronic charting through Statewise, offers simulation labs for adult and pediatric care, matches cases near residents’ homes to help provide short commute times, and provides around-the-clock clinical support by phone.
Requirements
- Be a nursing graduate with a scheduled or passed NCLEX in the United States.
- Hold a current, valid U.S. nursing license and have graduated from a qualified nursing program.
- Maintain CPR certification in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients in their homes.
- Deliver care to people of all ages and with a range of diagnoses and acuity levels.
- Complete electronic charting using Statewise.
