About The Position

BAYADA’s Nurse Residency Program is a paid home-care residency for nursing graduates who have scheduled or passed the NCLEX in the United States. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Residents provide one-on-one nursing care to clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels, with opportunities to explore interests and develop new skills. The program includes six weeks of training, paid training and shadowing, simulation labs, electronic charting, and around-the-clock clinical phone support. Scheduling is flexible after the training program, and BAYADA aims to match residents with nearby cases.

Requirements

• Current valid nursing license in the United States.
• Graduation from a qualified nursing program.
• CPR certification in good standing.
• Scheduled or passed NCLEX in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to home health clients.
• Care for clients across ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels.
• Use electronic charting through Statewise.
• Participate in training, shadowing, and simulation lab activities.
