About The Position
This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. You will examine veterans and record your findings on standard disability evaluation forms. Each exam is a one-time evaluation, not ongoing care, and you will not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Candidates must live within daily commute range of The Dalles, OR, and must have their own brick-and-mortar office within 50 miles of The Dalles, OR, as veterans will come to your office for their exams. No clinic space is provided for this role.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Own office within 50 miles of The Dalles, OR
- CV in month and year format
