About The Position
Join a neuroscience program in San Antonio, Texas, as a full-time Nurse Practitioner providing inpatient Neurology care. The hospital-based role involves caring for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions and working collaboratively with neurologists and multidisciplinary hospital teams. The position focuses on patient evaluation, treatment management, care coordination, and discharge planning within a growing neuroscience service line. The role requires a master's-prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner who is licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by applicable law, regulation, or policy. An RNP license is required, along with any additional certifications required by the governing board and facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
Requirements
- Master's-prepared Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice the profession as required by law, regulation in the state of practice, or policy.
- RNP license.
- Additional certifications as required by the governing board and facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Neurology care for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
- Evaluate patients and manage treatment.
- Coordinate patient care and plan discharges.
- Work collaboratively with neurologists and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Perform responsibilities as specified by the collaborative agreement and/or state requirements.
