About The Position
Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a Spanish-speaking Urology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient specialty care on a part-time basis. The role supports a growing patient population and involves delivering compassionate, high-quality, integrated care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The position is intended for a bilingual clinician with an interest in urology who can help expand access to specialty care for diverse and underserved communities. The clinician will evaluate and manage urology patients, communicate in English and Spanish, assist urologists with outpatient procedures as needed, and collaborate with physicians, other advanced practice providers, and support staff. The role offers a flexible part-time schedule and a supportive, well-structured environment that values clinical excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) program.
- Active, unrestricted state license.
- National certification as an NP or PA.
- Fluency in Spanish is required.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of urology experience is preferred; strong and motivated candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage urology patients in an outpatient setting.
- Provide direct patient care as a bilingual provider, communicating clearly and in a culturally competent manner in English and Spanish.
- Assist urologists with outpatient procedures as needed.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, laboratory tests, and imaging.
- Prescribe medications and provide patient education within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with physicians, fellow NPs/PAs, and support staff.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
- Stay current with urology best practices and clinical advancements.
