About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its established, independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in a busy outpatient practice and offers a blend of primary care, urgent care, and pain management services. The provider will work alongside physicians and other providers and deliver direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The position involves developing and implementing patient management plans, documenting progress, supporting continuity of care, communicating test results and follow-up information to patients, and referring patients to specialists and other appropriate care services. The practice offers modern, well-equipped facilities, onsite ancillary services, and Allscripts EMR software. Phone-only call coverage is 1:28 days or better. Bethany Medical serves communities across the Triad and surrounding areas of North Carolina.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
AANP or NCCPA certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience is preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Bilingual Spanish language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain confidentiality of patient and corporate information.
Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment.
Build relationships with patients and provide attentive bedside manner and clinical care.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and support continuity of care.
Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information.
Refer patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate.
