About The Position

Bethany Medical is seeking a bilingual (Spanish) Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its independent multi-specialty practice in Central North Carolina. The role is based in a busy practice setting and works alongside physicians and other providers. Care combines primary care, urgent care, and pain management in an outpatient environment, with primary, urgent, and specialty care services available through the practice. The provider manages direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment. The role also involves developing patient management plans, documenting progress notes, supporting continuity of care, communicating testing results and follow-up information to patients, and referring patients to specialists or other appropriate care services. Maintaining confidentiality of patient and corporate information is required. Practice resources include Allscripts EMR, extensive onsite ancillary services, and modern, well-equipped facilities. Phone-only call coverage is approximately 1:28 days or better. Experienced applicants are preferred, though new graduates are welcome to apply.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
AANP or NCCPA certification.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Excellent clinical skills and a patient-focused bedside manner.
Ability to build relationships with patients.

Responsibilities
