Clinic - Nurse Practitioner- St. Joseph Family Medical Care
About The Position
St. Joseph Medical Group and Kansas City Physician Care are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for St. Joseph Family Medical Care. The role provides general care to patients of all ages, with patience, care, compassion, and understanding. The Nurse Practitioner performs duties within their scope of practice, which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians, promoting public awareness of health, and prescribing medications. This is a full-spectrum family medicine clinic role based at St. Joseph Medical Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with no weekends. The position sees approximately 18–24 patients per day and uses Epic EMR. Compensation is salaried and commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- MSN with specialization as an ARNP.
- Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- BLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
- Previous experience with an electronic health record.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.
