Family Care Clinic Medical Assistant
About The Position
Coshocton Regional Medical Center is seeking a Medical Assistant for its Family Care Clinic. The Medical Assistant assists physicians with patient care and with clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The role includes scheduling appointments and managing charts, providing information to patients so they can make full use of clinic services, and conveying a positive image of the organization. Coshocton Regional Medical Center is a 56-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving East Central Ohio. It provides 24-hour emergency and acute care services, including hospital-based physician clinics, and is an Accredited Chest Pain and Heart Failure Center.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience, for new hires effective April 2014.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- At least one year of work experience in a public-contact job.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant (MA) certification or higher-level certification/licensure preferred.
- Work experience in health care preferred.
