About The Position
This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. The exams are one-time evaluations, not ongoing care, and do not involve treatment, prescribing, or patient management. Exams are conducted in the Nurse Practitioner's own office, which must be located within 50 miles of Nutter Fort, WV. Veterans will travel to the NP's office for their exams. No clinic space is provided. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 50 miles of Nutter Fort, WV
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations for veterans.
- Work from your own office to see veterans for exams.
