About The Position
This is a per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for these one-time evaluations. You will examine veterans and complete standard disability evaluation forms. This role does not involve treatment, prescribing, or ongoing patient management. Exams are scheduled during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
- Board certification
- NPI number
- Current ACLS and BLS
- Active DEA
- Your own office within 50 miles of Gassaway, WV
- CV in month and year format
Responsibilities
- Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
- Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
- Complete credentialing paperwork within 3 days of acceptance.
- Finish online training within 7 business days.
