About The Position

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking full-time Weekend Warrior Nurse Practitioners with adult and pediatric experience to join its Northwell provider community in the Staten Island region. The role serves the Bulls Head and Dongan Hills centers as part of the care team. Weekend Warriors commit to 24 hours per week while receiving full-time pay for 32 hours and may be eligible for comprehensive benefits. Providers must be flexible to travel to Staten Island's 16-hour centers and work 16-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. GoHealth Urgent Care partners with Northwell Health to operate a network of urgent care centers across the New York City metro area and Long Island. Its centers are equipped with imaging, labs, and an advanced ECW EMR. Providers have autonomy with mentoring and support, and work alongside on-site Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants. Scheduling options include trading or picking up extra shifts, and providers may rotate among locations. Compensation is $68–$89 per hour, based on experience, with an additional $30 per hour night shift differential from 8 p.m. to midnight. Full-time employees are bonus-eligible. Requirements

At least 2 years of full-time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting treating patients of all ages, including patients 6 months and older.
Experience with adult and pediatric patients.
Comfort with minor procedures, including sutures, casts, and splints.
Ability to read EKGs and X-rays.
Flexibility to travel to 16-hour centers within Staten Island and work 16-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday.

Responsibilities

Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages, including adults and children as young as 6 months.
Serve the Bulls Head and Dongan Hills centers in the Staten Island region.
Work 16-hour shifts on one or more of Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, with flexibility to travel to Staten Island's 16-hour centers.
Perform minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints.
Read EKGs and X-rays.
Work with on-site Radiologic Technologists and Medical Assistants who assist with vitals, medication review, splinting, and medication and vaccine administration.
