About The Position

IVX Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. The NP will oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers, ensuring treatments are delivered with precision and care. Requirements

  • Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
  • Active and Unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
  • AANP or ANCC Board Certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation, including experience with EHR systems.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to care for both adults and pediatrics.
  • Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills, including experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • PALS certification.
  • Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including evaluations, documenting SOAP notes, and monitoring treatment responses.
  • Educate and support patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Support operations and training, including inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
