Field Nurse Practitioner - Hot Spring County, Arkansas
About The Position
Advantmed is seeking a licensed, dependable Nurse Practitioner to conduct structured, in-home wellness and risk-adjustment assessments for diverse patient populations with varying healthcare needs. This PRN role offers flexible weekday scheduling, consistent visit availability, and operational support. It is intended for NPs seeking ongoing supplemental income rather than short-term or ad hoc work. The position is a 1099 independent contractor role with a minimum ongoing commitment of approximately 30 hours per month. Providers are expected to maintain monthly availability, respond during onboarding and scheduling, honor confirmed visits, and work independently and professionally in the field. Daily travel is required within a 55-mile radius of the assigned county. Compensation is approximately $100 per completed assessment plus paid mileage. Most providers complete four to five visits per day, depending on availability.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state.
- Minimum ongoing commitment of approximately 30 hours per month.
- Ability to travel daily within a 55-mile radius of the assigned county.
- Comfort with EMR systems and independent work.
- Willingness to obtain additional licensure if needed.
Nice To Haves
- Three or more years of patient care experience.
- In-home or risk-adjustment experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home Annual Wellness Visits and chronic condition assessments.
- Perform focused histories, examinations, vital-sign checks, medication reviews, and screenings.
- Conduct screenings including Hemoglobin A1C, Spirometry, KED (Kidney Health Evaluation), DRE (Diabetic Retinal Exam), and FIT.
- Educate members on preventive care and chronic disease management.
- Document visits in the EMR to support value-based care and risk adjustment.
- Maintain ongoing monthly availability and respond during onboarding and scheduling.
- Honor confirmed visits and assignments.
- Work independently and professionally in the field.
