About The Position
Skywood Recovery, a 100-bed residential treatment facility, is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to care for a diverse adult patient population (age 18 and over) with mental health and detox needs. The role involves psychiatric evaluations for new patients and conducting history and physicals. The facility is part of the Foundations Recovery Network and utilizes evidence-based, research-proven treatment methods focused on the whole person, treating mind, body, and spirit for lasting recovery. Their approach incorporates 12-Step principles and motivational services tailored to the patient's stage of readiness to promote engagement and long-term recovery outcomes. The campus is pastoral, situated among wildlife and tranquil greenery, providing a serene environment for patients to rediscover themselves and begin a new life in recovery.
Requirements
- Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Ability to manage an average caseload of 15 patients per day
Responsibilities
- Care of assigned mental health and detox patients
- Psychiatric evaluations on new patients
- Conducting history and physicals
- Participate in call rotation once every 6 weeks
