About The Position
A well-established, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative primary care team serving an underserved community near Providence, Rhode Island. This organization has over 50 years of community impact, is Joint Commission accredited, and holds NCQA Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition. Providers practice in a fully integrated care model alongside nursing, behavioral health, dental, and social services teams.
Requirements
- FNP or PA-C with Master’s degree
- Licensed (or license-eligible) in Rhode Island
- 1+ year primary care experience preferred
- Passion for community health and underserved populations
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Primary Care Provider – Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA)
- Join a collaborative primary care team
- Serve an underserved community
- Practice in a fully integrated care model alongside nursing, behavioral health, dental, and social services teams
- Work with special populations
