About The Position

Performs tasks using established procedures and applies data organization and coordination skills to business support or technical work. The role requires vocational training, certifications, licensure, or equivalent experience and involves advanced, specialized expertise across analytical or operational processes. The position completes assignments, facilitates others’ work, may coordinate assignments beyond its work area, and proposes process improvements. It serves as a team lead without supervisory responsibility, works autonomously within established procedures, and provides subject matter guidance to junior team members. The role supports and manages a defined list of patients who need assessment and education about their disease therapy or treatment, provides drug information to health care professionals, and helps patients overcome medication-adherence barriers.

Requirements

Vocational training, certifications, licensure, or equivalent experience.
Developed skills in a range of processes, procedures, and systems.
Advanced, specialized expertise within a range of analytical or operational processes.
Ability to work autonomously within established procedures.
Ability to exchange information and ideas effectively and use tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.

Responsibilities

Support and manage a defined list of patients requiring assessment and education about their disease therapy or treatment.
Use professional judgment when counseling patients.
Provide drug information to other health care professionals.
Document and maintain records of all interactions.
Provide information about specific drug therapy, drug administration, side effects, and side-effect management.
Carry out interventions when appropriate.
Administer programs that help patients overcome medication-adherence barriers.
Coordinate assignments and facilitate the work of others; allocate work to team members when needed.
Provide subject matter guidance to junior team members.
Suggest improvements to work procedures and practices to improve efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
