The Nurse Manager will be responsible for developing and administering health care services for the residential children served by Gemma Services in accordance with established agency policies and regulatory guidelines. This role involves developing, implementing, and achieving annual goals and objectives as established in the Residential Programs Division’s annual operating plan. The Nurse Manager will ensure the department’s compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements, directly supervise assigned personnel, and communicate with appropriate management and staff personnel, providing periodic reports. The position supports the mission of Gemma Services by providing individualized support, being data informed, and helping others know they matter, reflecting Gemma’s values of being unlimited, nimble, inspired, transparent, effective, and diverse. The Nurse Manager acts as a member of the RT Core Leadership Team, modeling Gemma Service’s diversity, equity and inclusion framework, supporting the strategic plan, and conducting professional development for residential staff. They participate in program learning collaboratives, partner with support services, provide mentorship, and engage in the quality improvement process by reviewing data, recommending improvements, and monitoring outcomes. This role requires collaboration with supervisors, department and division managers, and staff to integrate goals and activities, and adherence to the program operating plan and budget.
