About The Position

Cabell Huntington Hospital is accepting applications for Nurse Extern positions. Externs gain clinical experience while working alongside Registered Nurses. Within hospital and nursing service policies and procedures, the Nurse Extern carries out routine and assigned nursing tasks and assists nurses with patient care activities within the scope of the extern’s training and experience.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited professional nursing program at the sophomore level or higher.
• Experience effectively dealing with the public.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities
