About The Position
The Nurse Educator (RN) supports nursing care for a patient population within a unit, service, or other primary area of practice. The role provides holistic, quality, and cost-effective care to patients and families, applies the nursing process within the organization’s Framework for Professional Practice, and functions as clinically competent. The position also delegates and supervises work appropriately. The job description identifies the role as CTICU and states that it reports to the Unit Manager.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required before the date of hire.
- One year of nursing experience required.
