Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical care, healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 2+ years of experience in nursing, clinical care, patient support, care coordination, case management, medical or hospital practice, insurance, biopharma, or a related field required.
  • License in nursing required.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations, patient support processes, and case coordination workflows in healthcare and bio-pharma environments.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, treatment-related information, and patient access or support pathways relevant to routine and moderately complex cases.
  • Knowledge of documentation standards, service procedures, and cross-functional coordination requirements needed to maintain accurate and timely case progression.
  • Skilled in communicating medical and program information clearly and professionally through inbound and outbound interactions.
  • Skilled in managing multiple case activities, prioritizing follow-ups, and maintaining strong attention to detail under pressure.
  • Skilled in collaborating with patients, caregivers, providers, and internal teams to support effective service delivery and issue resolution.
  • Ability to assess patient or case needs, navigate moderately complex scenarios, and determine appropriate next steps within established guidelines.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and relay clinical information accurately in both verbal and written interactions.
  • Ability to maintain patient focus, exercise sound judgment, and escalate issues appropriately to support continuity and quality of care.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in case management, oncology nursing, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates assigned clinical operations cases and related activities to support timely patient onboarding, service progression, and case closure within defined service expectations.
  • Reviews enrollment, prescription, and supporting clinical documentation for completeness, appropriateness, and readiness to advance patient services through established workflows.
  • Collaborates with providers, pharmacies, reimbursement support, logistics, and other adjacent teams to resolve standard exceptions and align next steps for patient care and medication access.
  • Provides clinical process guidance to patients and healthcare providers using approved language to clarify documentation requirements, service pathways, and appointment-related needs.
  • Evaluates routine requests related to care delivery settings and service feasibility by applying protocols, operational constraints, and clinical support requirements.
  • Documents case activity, clinical updates, and required records accurately in designated systems to support traceability, quality expectations, and continuity across handoffs.
  • Identifies recurring workflow issues, escalates adverse events and clinical-risk signals appropriately, and suggests low-risk improvements to templates, job aids, and routing practices.
