Greenville, WI 54942 - Onsite Nurse Assessor - 1099 (RN) Contract $125 Per Assessment
About The Position
The Helper Bees is seeking an Independent Contracted Nurse Assessor to complete face-to-face assessments in claimants’ homes. The role involves conducting in-depth cognitive and functional assessments of older adults, using structured assessment processes and focusing on accuracy and efficiency. Assessors must objectively observe and report each individual’s current status. The nurse coordinates scheduling with the client or their point of contact using provided contact information. Each assessment must be submitted through an online application within 24 hours. The review team may contact the assessor by telephone within 48 hours to request clarifications; an assessment is complete only after all clarifications have been answered. Compensation is $125 per completed assessment within a 35-mile radius. This 1099 contract opportunity is intended to provide supplemental income, and work is scheduled when opportunities become available in the assessor’s area.
Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) license.
- At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
- Familiarity with a broad range of medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
- Reliable internet access for submitting assessments.
- A portable computer with Windows or a tablet with a camera.
- Current computer proficiency and the ability to learn technology quickly.
- Prompt and thoughtful communication.
- Friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.

- Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
