About The Position

The Helper Bees is seeking an independent contracted nurse to conduct face-to-face assessments in claimants’ homes in Jackson, Wyoming. The role involves completing in-depth cognitive and functional assessments of older adults, using structured assessment tools and focusing on accuracy, efficiency, objective observation, and reporting of each individual’s current status.

The assessor coordinates scheduling with the client or their point of contact using provided contact information and submits each assessment through an online application within 24 hours. The review team may request clarifications by telephone within 48 hours of submission; an assessment is not complete until all clarifications are answered. Compensation is $125 per completed assessment within a 35-mile radius. This is a 1099 contract opportunity intended to provide supplemental income.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
• Familiarity with a broad range of medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
• Reliable internet access for submitting assessments.
• Portable computer with Windows or a tablet with a camera.
• Current computer proficiency and ability to learn technology quickly.
• Friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.
• Prompt and thoughtful communication.

Nice To Haves

• Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
