Jackson, WY 83001 - Onsite Nurse Assessor - 1099 (RN) Contract $125 Per Assessment
About The Position
The Helper Bees is seeking an independent contracted nurse to complete face-to-face assessments in claimants’ homes. The role involves in-depth cognitive and functional assessments of older adults, with an emphasis on accurate and efficient structured assessment, objective observation, and reporting of the individual’s current status. The opportunity is per diem and intended to provide supplemental income. Work opportunities are offered when available in the candidate’s area. The assessor coordinates scheduling with each client or their designated contact, submits each assessment through an online application within 24 hours, and responds to clarification requests from the review team. An assessment is complete only after all requested clarifications are answered. Compensation is $125 for each completed assessment within a 35-mile radius.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
- Familiarity with medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
- Reliable internet access to submit assessments.
- A portable Windows computer or a tablet with a camera.
- Current computer proficiency and ability to learn technology quickly.
- Friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.
- Prompt and thoughtful communication.
Nice To Haves
- Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
