About The Position

The Helper Bees is seeking an Independent Contracted Nurse Assessor to complete face-to-face cognitive and functional assessments with claimants in their homes. The role is a 1099 contract opportunity intended to provide supplemental, per-assessment income. Assessors conduct structured assessments accurately and efficiently, observe and objectively report each individual’s current status, and coordinate scheduling directly with the client or their designated contact using provided information.

Assessments must be submitted through an online application within 24 hours. After submission, the review team may contact the assessor by telephone within 48 hours to request clarification; the assessment is not complete until all clarifications are answered. Compensation is $125 per completed assessment within a 35-mile radius. Work opportunities are scheduled when available in the assessor’s area.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
• Familiarity with medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
• Reliable internet access for submitting assessments.
• Current computer proficiency and ability to learn technology quickly.
• A friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.
• Prompt and thoughtful communication.
• Portable computer running Windows or a tablet with a camera.
• Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
