Greenville, WI 54942 - Onsite Nurse Assessor - 1099 (RN) Contract $125 Per Assessment
About The Position
The Helper Bees partners with insurance carriers and health plans to support older adults in remaining independent, healthy, and at home. The Nurse Assessor completes face-to-face assessments in claimants’ homes as an independent contracted nurse, earning supplemental income on a per-assessment basis. The role involves conducting in-depth cognitive and functional assessments, completing structured assessments accurately and efficiently, and objectively observing and reporting each individual’s current status. The assessor coordinates scheduling with the client or their designated contact, submits each assessment through an online application within 24 hours, and responds to clarification requests from the review team. An assessment is considered complete only after all clarifications have been answered. Payment is $125 per completed assessment within a 35-mile radius.
Requirements
- Current registered nurse (RN) license.
- At least 5 years of experience as an RN.
- Familiarity with a broad range of medications and conditions common in the geriatric population.
- Reliable internet access for submitting assessments.
- Portable computer with Windows or a tablet with a camera.
- Friendly, compassionate, dedicated, and patient personality.
- Prompt and thoughtful communication.
- Ability to learn technology quickly and current proficiency with computers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous quality assurance or chart audit/review experience.
