About The Position
Concordia at Sumner is hiring experienced State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide direct care to residents. The role supports residents in retirement living, assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term nursing care. Paid on-the-job training is provided. Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of a Nurse Aide training program.
- Current Ohio Nurse Aide license in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a caregiver or STNA; experienced caregivers are sought and may qualify for accelerated PTO.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with eating and drinking, ambulating, transferring, toileting, and bladder and bowel management.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, turning, and positioning.
- Document the care provided.
- Provide treatment according to the ADL/treatment book.
- Answer resident call bells and respond promptly to residents’ needs.
