About The Position

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner (WHNP, FNP) or Physician Assistant certification and license in the state of South Carolina.
• DEA certification and BLS certification required
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills
• Passion for outpatient OB/GYN care and patient education

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years in an outpatient OB/GYN or women’s health setting (but new grads welcome to apply!)
• Comfortable with a diverse patient population
• Interest in integrative or holistic women’s health

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive outpatient visits, including annual exams, prenatal and postpartum visits, and gynecologic problem-focused visits
• Perform in-office procedures such as Pap smears, IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals, and endometrial biopsies (as appropriate to license and training)
• Provide counseling and education on family planning, contraception, menopause, and preventive health
• Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality initiatives, and patient education programs
• May assist with triage and follow-up care by phone or patient portal
