Advanced Practice Provider (APP - NP/PA)

UROLOGY CLINICS OF NORTH TEXAS PLLC•Rockwall, TX
•Onsite

About The Position

Urology Clinics of North Texas (UCNT) is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to support its growing organization across North Texas. The APP works independently and collaboratively with urologic surgeons at the division location, other Dallas-Fort Worth area offices, and affiliated hospitals. The role combines fast-paced clinic practice with hospital responsibilities, including consultations, rounds, and taking call. Surgical assisting opportunities may be available depending on the division; UCNT will train the APP in surgical assistance. The position is based in person at the Rockwall clinic and includes a day shift, Monday through Friday. The APP provides evaluation, treatment, follow-up, counseling, and education for urology patients; documents clinical care; and performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate to experience and physician direction. In the hospital, the APP rounds, sees consults, communicates with surgeons and on-call physicians, and documents admission and progress notes. When performing surgical first-assist duties under a surgeon’s direction, the APP may assist in open, robotic, and laparoscopic procedures, close incisions, and apply dressings. UCNT offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package including paid malpractice, CME and dues reimbursement, and bonus potential.
