The NP works under the supervision of the TPM and TMD and collaborates with registry personnel, trauma staff, surgeons, and physician groups. The role also supports MTQIP participation, trauma quality improvement, outcomes research, reporting, and standard practices, policies, and procedures. The position requires an accredited graduate education, NP or PA certification, a current Michigan license, continuing medical education as required by the certification body, and ACLS certification.
