About The Position
Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical and psychosocial assessments; establishes medical diagnoses; orders and evaluates diagnostic tests; manages follow-up care; and performs other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and results, and providing preventive healthcare and counseling.
Requirements
- A college degree as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school.
- Meet the certifications and credentialing applicable to the position under the Medical Staff Guidelines.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment, and patient education were the main focus.
