About The Position

The Norton Brand and Growth Acquisition Lead sets the plan for acquiring new Norton customers, including media investment, audience and product priorities, pricing and promotions, and growth tests. The role establishes full-funnel media and performance goals, guides Channel Centers of Excellence (CoE) on budgets and priorities, and reports on performance, risks, and investment shifts across owned, earned, and paid channels. This role leads annual and quarterly acquisition planning and in-year optimization, making investment decisions informed by unit economics such as CAC, LTV, LTV:CAC, and payback period. It oversees forecasts and performance narratives by channel, product, and geography; partners with Finance to reconcile media plans to bookings, units, and revenue targets; and guides geo-specific, go-to-market, pricing, and promotional strategy. The role also owns the test roadmap, connects media activity to funnel conversion and customer value, and collaborates across channel, analytics, Finance, Integrated Marketing, Product, Product Marketing, Pricing, CRO, and Customer Success/Lifecycle teams. The position calls for 10–12 years of experience in performance, growth, or acquisition marketing, including at least three years setting cross-channel investment strategy. Candidates should bring multi-channel budget ownership, consumer subscription software or digital services experience, multi-region planning experience, strong analytical and storytelling skills, and practical familiarity with measurement methods, SQL or BI tools, ad platforms, and AI-driven workflows. The role is based in New York, NY, with a minimum of three onsite days per week.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of experience in performance, growth, or acquisition marketing, with at least three years setting cross-channel investment strategy.
  • Experience building marketing plans and understanding performance channels and KPIs.
  • Track record of owning and defending a multi-channel budget against CAC or ROAS targets.
  • Experience in consumer subscription software, cybersecurity, or digital services.
  • Multi-region experience, including North America, EMEA, and APAC, with localized planning.
  • Exposure to partner or indirect acquisition, such as retail, OEM, telco, or app stores, alongside direct channels.
  • Experience leading annual and quarterly media planning across channels, deriving tests, and setting a cadence to deliver brand and performance objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and adjust audience targeting, channel mix, and product investment priorities to meet KPI, CAC, and growth targets.
  • Experience owning significant media budgets, defining performance goals, and optimizing in-quarter and full-year performance.
  • Strong track record of weekly performance reporting across channel, product, and geo, with implications for quarterly and annual forecasts.
  • Deep understanding of growth levers across owned, earned, and paid channels and how they work together in an integrated acquisition plan.
  • Experience developing and executing geo-specific media investment strategies, localized campaigns, and regional go-to-market support.
  • Ability to partner with Brand, Campaigns, and Product Marketing, providing media-led insights on formats, placements, and localization.
  • Data-driven approach to test design and scaling across media, channels, and geographies, with CRO partnership to connect media investment to conversion outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and incrementality testing, including when to trust each method.
  • Experience in a subscription or recurring-revenue business, managing toward LTV and payback rather than first-order return alone.
  • Comfort using SQL or BI tools such as Power BI and ad-platform reporting to pull and pressure-test data independently.
  • Hands-on experience using and building with AI to improve work, plus familiarity with automated bidding and AI-driven campaign types.
  • Strategic thinking and strong storytelling skills to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • Bold decision-making, proactivity, analytical rigor, and a brand-level, full-funnel perspective.
  • Ability to influence without authority and align CoE, Finance, and Product partners around shared plans and metrics.
  • Comfort making decisions amid ambiguity and designing tests to validate them.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and a track record of using it to improve work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, economics, or a quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
