Job Description: Executive Assistant – Vice President, Public Sector Role Overview The Executive Assistant (EA) provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Public Sector. This role requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and flexibility to support a senior executive operating in a highly regulated, externally facing environment. The EA is expected to exercise independent judgment, manage sensitive information, and adjust working hours as business needs require.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience providing administrative support to senior leaders (VP level or above).
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting leaders in Public Sector, Government, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience coordinating executive‑level meetings and customer engagements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced administrative support to the VP, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense management.
  • Independently manage changing priorities and time‑sensitive requests, often requiring availability outside of standard business hours.
  • Prepare, edit, and coordinate executive correspondence, presentations, reports, and briefing materials.
  • Coordinate logistics and communications with senior internal leaders, customers, government stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Support planning and execution of meetings, events, and customer engagements, including travel and on‑site support when required.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between the VP and internal cross‑functional partners (Sales, Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, HR).
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion at all times.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in managing access to the VP, prioritizing requests, and handling executive‑level matters.
  • Ensure alignment with company policies, security requirements, and public sector compliance standards.
  • Track action items, commitments, and follow‑ups from leadership meetings to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist with coordination of leadership meetings, offsites, and business reviews.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as required to support business needs.
